“Meet the Artist” Day at Palm Beach Gardens Elementary School, May 19th

Aimen Faraj’s “Trashy Art” to Help Educate Young Children about Environmental Etiquette

Palm Beach, FLA, May 15, 2006. Aimen Faraj, Florida’s renowned environmental artist and founder of the Pollution Solution Foundation has been officially invited by Palm Beach Gardens Elementary School to participate in “Meet the Artist” day this Friday, May 19, 2006 from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm. The event will showcase various local artists with varying art techniques.

“By exposing our students to a wonderful, diverse group of artists, we hope to educate our children for a further love of art. For the children to see what the art world has to offer, may entice them to enhance their own artistic talents,” said Mary Igo, Palm Beach Gardens Elementary PTA President.

Faraj will entertain and educate 600 elementary school children through his unique and environmental art. The children will take part and help Faraj in creating a new and exciting piece of artwork.

"My mission is to educate children on environmental etiquette through my art to help deepen their connection with nature at an early age when they are more focused and impressionable," said Aimen Faraj. “They are our only hope to help preserve the earth and the oceans before it’s too late and carry this torch and message to the next generation,” he continued.

Through his art and love for the ocean, the beach and the community, Faraj continually and tirelessly creates environmental art from debris discarded into the ocean that he collects daily to continue adding to his collection for future shows. His art is pleasing to the eye and it engages the viewer to better understand and appreciate the environment. Faraj’s work encourages viewers not to pollute the ocean and teaches them what they can do to preserve it for the next generation.

The Pollution Solution Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing awareness and education to the public, especially children, on our oceans and beaches and how to protect these precious resources and deepen our connection with nature.
